I don’t really feel like writing about anything tonight. My best friend, Brent, lost his cat, Maya, today. He’d had her almost 10 years, and I was lucky enough to know and love her, too. She was a really wonderful, sweet cat. She always had a smile on her face. She was the only cat I ever knew who played fetch, and played it well. She was a master, stealth lap-stealer; she’d be cuddling in your lap before you realized she was even sitting with you. Maya will be missed.
