How are you liking the Sookie Stackhouse series? I read it last year and find the writing style so trite and annoying. JMHO. ha! ๐
Hey, Kristine. I think it's OK. I'm actually reading the first book now, but found Dead as a Doornail at a used bookstore and had to pick it up since it was $3 for the hardcover.
I think I'm still getting used to her style of writing, which, like you point out, can be trite at times. But I've read far, far worse, and at the very least the story is engaging. ๐
