Song Lyric of the Day:

I’m a little bit of everything / All rolled into one /I’m a bitch, I’m a lover / I’m a child, I’m a mother /I’m a sinner, I’m a saint / I do not feel ashamed

Meredith Brooks / “Bitch”

Yay! Only 130 more days until Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is released! Check out the artwork at MediaBistro, an awesome site for writers and all types of creative folks.

In other, totally unrelated news, I fell off the Lent wagon today. I’d made it 23 out of the 40 days. I did not have time to prepare a sandwich for lunch before leaving for work this morning, nor did I have any frozen meals or Chef Boyardee buckets to fall back on. Bob had come up with what I should give up for 40 days–buying lunch during the work week; I’d been eating out a bit too much. So it was bettering me financially and health-wise since I was saving money and not intaking as much sugar, salt, grease…you get the idea. But today, out of necessity, I ventured out into the miserable cold, rain, and snow to get Wendy’s. Was it worth it? Not particularly, but I was hungry. As it is, I mostly give up something for Lent just to test my willpower since I don’t even go to church anymore.

I just checked the link for Chef Boyardee, and, holy crap, it scared the living daylights out of me. Be warned–a LOUD noise awaits you.

I can’t wait till the new HP book comes out. I pre-ordered mine off of Amazon! I wish I could give up fast food COMPLETELY. For health and financial reasons. I saw part of “supersize me” and I almost threw up in the bed last night! I already gave up McD’s A WHILE BACK, but I need to give ALL of them up! PS I got Ken addicted to Quizno’s…. you would be so proud!

I have no desire to go to McD’s ever again. Although I do really miss the fries. “Supersize Me” definitely had some icky stuff in it. Glad to hear Ken likes Quizno’s. That’s my boy.
