Neat. Just caught the video for “Dirty Little Secret” by All American Rejects on Fuse. I’d heard about this video–it uses postcards people have sent in to PostSecret, which I check each week (it gets updated every Sunday). The postcards are funny, mean, sad, rhetorical. Some are simply heartbreaking. I like to imagine some are even cathartic.

3:00PM.
Today has been a very visual day for me. First, I met with the wedding/event coordinator at the Knoxville Convention Center to scope it out as a potential wedding location; I’m acting as Vanessa’s bride-to-be-by-proxy. I took a lot of photos for her, ranging from the china pattern to the event rooms to the decorations. I then decided to make today a photography day and continued taking photos at the World’s Fair Park, which is adjacent to the Knoxville Convention Center. I picked up a sub from Quizno’s, ate lunch at home, and set up the DVR to record this season’s first episode of “The O.C.” for Samantha. I then grabbed my camera and headed right back up the street to Marble Springs, the home of John Sevier, Tennessee’s first governor. I took approximately 100 photos there (color, B&W, and sepia), which I have now begun loading into my Flickr account. Yes, you read that correctly–I am finally getting around to setting up my online photo albums. Ah, I love photography. I’ll update my blog and add a link once I’ve got a decent amount of photos loaded.

Now to help Samantha scope out wedding locations. Bwahahahahaha.
