"Prison Break" Marathon

Song Lyric of the Day:

Daylight spent the night without you / But I’ve been dreamin’ ’bout the lovin’ you do

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts / “I Hate Myself for Loving You”

12:00AM.
Woo hoo! Twelve more hours until FX‘s “Prison Break” marathon. Just twelve more hours until my fantasy second husband (FSH) Wentworth Miller graces my 56-inch high-definition TV screen for seven hours straight, saved by Tivo and then burned to DVD for posterity. At least until next year’s DVD box set is released, that is.

Now let me just take a moment to thank Mr. Miller’s parents for producing such an incredibly beautiful, talented child. God bless them. They do good work.

1:23AM.
In case you hadn’t figured it out already, my sleep patterns are totally hosed. Staying up way too late every night will do that to you. Anyhoo, “The Fog” is on SciFi right now, so like an idiot I’m watching it right before going to bed. It’s only the movie that I saw as a young child and scarred (scared) me for life.

Turns out there was indeed a downside to family nights revolving around horror movies. Example: “Friday the 13th” + cat + canopy bed = a young Pattie scared awake in the middle of the night and screaming for her mom.

11:55AM.
Five minutes and counting.

Ah, good times.

1:25PM.
Gotta say, Dominic Purcell is quite easy on the eyes, too. I’m glad to see him in a project worthy of his talent, particularly on the heels of last year’s “Blade: Trinity.”

1:46PM.
I still can’t believe Robert Knepper (T-Bag) is the same actor who played Tommy Dolan on “Carnivale.” He was so sweet and sensitive on “Carnivale,” and yet on “Prison Break” he makes my skin crawl. Now that, my friends, is range.

1:57PM.
This little piggy went to market. Forever.

5:37PM.
I missed the last 3 eps of the “Prison Break” marathon since Rich and I had to go to Lowe’s and pick up things for house projects. I got back in time for part one of “Riots, Drills and the Devil” so I am now watching poor Dr. Tancredi try to barricade herself in the infirmary and keep the prisoners at bay. Lucky for her she’s got a knight in sleeve-tattooed armor who wants to keep her safe.

6:06PM.
I hate that Lincoln has been set up both outside and inside the prison. I wonder if he and Veronica will find their way back to each other once everything is said and done, preferably after his name has been cleared. And I really want Westmoreland to find his cat, Marilyn, safe and sound; I think actor Muse Watson is doing a great job as this most introspective of prisoners. Westmoreland will be a great ally for Michael once they’re both on the outside.

Holy cow! I just noticed on his IMDB resume that Muse Watson played the hook-handed killer, Ben Willis, in “I Know What You Did Last Summer” and its sequel. I knew his name sounded familiar. Anyhoo, I’m really enjoying watching him on “Prison Break” these days.

6:34PM.
Ahhh…the look Michael just gave Sara would make any woman turn into a puddle. Lucky woman. Shame their moment was very short-lived.

6:49PM.
Good thing the other prisoners found Michael and Sara when they did. They saved our boy from being on the wrong end of a sniper’s bullet.

I didn’t trust Nick at first, but it looks like he’s genuinely on Veronica’s side in trying to clear Lincoln’s name. I have a feeling, though, that Nick won’t live long enough to help Veronica for much longer.

6:52PM.
How amazing was that hug between the brothers when Lincoln found Michael? Too sweet.

Poor Sara. She’s happy to be alive and see her father only to realize his joy upon seeing her is from a puerly political standpoint.

C.O. Bob…we barely got to know you. T-Bag has to be stopped; he can’t be allowed to ever rejoin society again. R.I.P., C.O. Bob.
