11:25PM.
Today was like any other day here in unemployed land. I woke up later than I should have, made a grocery list, and headed to Sam’s Club and Wal-Mart to pick up some much-needed groceries. I came home, did some spackling on the office loft walls to prep for painting and burned some more episodes of “Without a Trace” to DVD from Tivo. (Thanks again, Jonathan!) I started beef stew simmering in our crock pot, got a bit more organized, cleaned up the kitchen, and got some recyclables ready to take to the recycling center up the street tomorrow. I also called Directv about a software upgrade and called the moving company to follow up on our claim. Exciting life I lead, isn’t it?

Rich got home from work and we got ready to head across the street to our neighbor’s house for some Halloween festivities. He wore his martial arts outfit from the other night, only this time he accessorized with the kick-a$$ purple Mace Windu light saber his boss bought him and went as a Jedi. I went as Selene again and managed to scare at least one child with my fangs. We socialized for a bit and got to meet some more of our neighbors, all of whom are really nice. I even made a public relations industry contact, which might be helpful with the whole job search thing.

Once back home, we had a very late dinner. Rich headed up to the office and I parked myself on the couch to watch tonight’s new episode of “Prison Break.” I’ll do a short writeup tomorrow, but in closing tonight let me just say: Thank you, Fox, for giving us a gratuitous shower scene featuring Wentworth Miller. Tattoo sleeves have never been so sexy. Very nice of Fox, indeed. (Thanks to the website Vanishing Tattoo for the pics).
