HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my mom and to my future brother-in-law, Shawn. Here’s hoping that all their birthday wishes come true.
And that people don’t guess that they’re older than they really are.

I had a good lunch with Mom and Samantha earlier today at the Italian Market & Grill. Sam and I took Mom there in honor of her birthday today. I am proud to announce I was actually early for once; I’m hardly ever on time for anything anymore, which stinks. At least today was a turn for the better.
I brought lunch home for Rich only to discover that the restaurant hadn’t actually put the Caesar dressing on the Caesar salad. I called and complained, so they promised us a correctly-dressed Caesar salad next time we visit. I gave them Rich’s name, too, so he can help himself during the work week.
Speaking of, the hubby is home sick today. I let him borrow my iPod Shuffle for his workout, which he loaded with music using my laptop. I knew the risks of letting him use my laptop, and sure enough he did not disappoint. Which is why my wallpaper no longer looks like this:

Man, my mom rocks! Not only did she give me the movie poster for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe at lunch today (which thrilled Rich), but she just told me she got me the King Kong movie poster, too. Sweeet.
Now to figure out the best way to hang our movie poster frames on the slanted walls in our house…

Okay, we’re only halfway through tonight’s new episode of Nip/Tuck, and I think this is the most distrubing episode they’ve done in quite some time, which is really saying something. And I know it’s only supposed to get worse once it’s revealed what really happened with Kimber.

Well, the Carver reveal on Nip/Tuck wasn’t a surprise after last week’s previews. Still disturbing, though.
