I had to pee on a stick again today–yep, another pregnancy test (and thank you again, Jesus). I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that I’ll probably have to do it again tomorrow, the third and last day of the medical research experiment (let me thank Jesus in advance). Today’s process went more smoothly than yesterday’s did since we knew what to expect. Same process, different episodes of Prison Break; let me just say how much I love that Jonnie is now hooked, too. Bwahahahaha.
Besides the different PB episodes, the only other differences today were that my fingers weren’t as cold as popsicles and that I took a couple of pictures of Jonnie all wired up. The first pick is without the TV headphones, the second with:
I thought the research team might be hesitant about letting me take pictures, but they are actually really interested in using these in presentations, including ones Manju will make to his students upon returning to India. Of course, I am excited to think that photos I took will be used in scientific presentations and the like, so I am taking my camera with me again tomorrow to get pictures of the building, box, and equipment. All the research team asks in return is that I email them copies. Done and done!
I managed to make it to ORNL on time this morning after dropping Tamara off at the airport and encountering a bad accident on the Pellissippi Parkway (a car was flipped upside down on the shoulder). Knoxville and Oak Ridge dodged a weather bullet in that we did not actually get any winter precipitation this morning like we had heard we would. Of course, now it’s raining outside and the temperature’s dropping, so who knows what we might get tonight.
Nice photos…who is that handsome devil??? He appears, however to be relieving himself in the one on the right…..Oh well, all in the name of science.

What I really want to know Pattie, is if you’re watching Prison Break episodes, how do they know if it’s the aroma making your heart beat rise, or the action packed scene? Riddle me this?

Elizabeth–I think you’re on to something. It’s either the action scenes or the Wentworth shower scenes. 🙂 And, to a lesser extent, the toxic tobacco being piped into the room.
