No Poop Left Behind

Song Lyric of the Day:

Take it to the bridge, throw it overboard / See if it can swim, back up to the shore / No one’s in the house, everyone is out / All the lights are on and the blinds are down

Squeeze / “Hourglass”

Back home and back to the same old everyday crap. Today, literally. I took pity on Snoops and Caleb and decided to be nice and clean the backyard for them. Trusty Pooper Scooper in hand, I spent over an hour on the worst kind of scavenger hunt you can imagine. I encountered all sorts of things in the backyard besides dog poop, including foreign stuffed animals and what I am pretty sure may actually be fossilized dinosaur eggs. Take note, small dog owners: be happy that your little dogs put out that funky pellet-shaped rabbit-like poop. Big dogs not only make big messes, they are also very, very productive.

Aside from that most unpleasant of chores, I’ve been reacquainting myself with my Tivo. Oh, how I missed my beloved while I was in New York City. I also missed my babies, the couch, my bed, my pillow…It’s great to be home.
