Work was very slow today. Slowwwwww.

We had a nice, heavy rainstorm a little while ago. It’s still raining hard enough that Caleb is desperately trying to hold in whatever it is that he has to let out.

I enjoyed relaxing tonight and watching my Thursday night shows, CSI and Without a Trace. CSI was really good, but I especially enjoyed WAT since tonight’s episode, “Check Your Head,” is the series’ first episode that truly qualifies as flat-out funny (followed closely by “Life Rules“). Aside from the primary storyline revolving around a missing agoraphobic woman, this episode really let the actors have some fun with their characters. I got a real kick out of Danny and Jack’s rock-paper-scissors decision-making strategy, Elena’s “someone needs nappie time” comment, and Samantha’s attempts at pronouncing a suspect’s name (very “500 dollah“). And the last scene with Danny and Jack singing? Too cute. Of course, I’m partial to any scenes with one of my Fantasy Second Husbands, Enrique Murciano. So there you have it, Rich–the real reason I keep watching Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous on HBO.

Very cool Simpsons link. The producers really followed it to a T.
