The Night Before the Last Day of Work

Song Lyric of the Day:

The way you eat that oatmeal pie / Makes me wanna die / You make me wanna walk like a camel / Say you don’t think there’s anyway / I could get that quarter / From underneath your pointy boot do ya

It’s done. It’s finally, finally done. My post about Vanessa’s wedding. It only took me about three weeks to find the time to finish uploading the photos I wanted to feature. Now to finish my post about my sixth wedding anniversary weekend…

As of tomorrow, I am officially done with my early bedtime of 9:30PM and unholy wakeup time of 5AM–tomorrow’s my last day of work. That’s right–Monday I start at HGTV. I can’t wait!

Obviously, tonight the whole going to bed early thing is out the window.

Man, I’ve missed watching CSI: NY. The lamp on our beloved 56-inch Samsung DLP blew out last week, adding to my primetime TV-watching deprivation woes. Between my usual early workday bedtime and an incapacitated TV–and therefore, Tivo–I’m now 2 1/2 episodes behind on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, 3 behind on Lost, and about 10 behind on 24. I’ve managed to keep up with Prison Break (as if I’d miss that) and Veronica Mars. So much catching up to do…

It will be so nice for the voyeuristic Blogaholics in your fan club to get the blog fix that is desperately needed. Seems like the new HGTV schedule will suit all of us just fine.

Its great to have you back full time.
