I realized yesterday that, despite recounting as much as I possibly could when I wrote my Adventure Con 2007 recap, I actually forgot to mention a couple of other celebrity meetings. I did that much in the one day I was there. So I’ve gone back and added those encounters in. So if you feel like you really need the closure and want to devour every last morsel of my Saturday at Adventure Con 2007, you can go back and read about my meeting David Prowse (Darth Vader himself) — for the second time in my life — and Gigi Edgley from Farscape.
Incidentally, today was Threshold day (thanks AGAIN, CBS) on Sci-Fi, which reminded me that I also forgot to mention how William Mapother and I discussed that show and his future on Lost; that’s in the recap now, too. I was also reminded today that Threshold was a kick-ass show and that I really would’ve liked to have had the chance to see it continue. At least it lives on in DVD form.
Next time I’m at one of these things, I think I’ll just play reporter and take notes.
