Song Lyric of the Day
I hate the rain and sunny weather / And I hate the beach and mountains too / (And) I don’t like a thing about the city, no, no / And I, I, I, hate the countryside too!
Today is one of those days. Nothing particularly bad has happened, but I’ve been in one hell of a mood all day. I’m in full-blown superhero bitch mode. Going to grab a solo lunch, read Eat, Pray, Love, and see if my mood improves any. Failing that, I’ll be looking for chocolate.
Wrapping up lunch. At my desk. The restaurant I wanted to eat at was too busy by the time I got there, so I grabbed some lackluster fast food and came back to the office. Bah.
Woohoo! I entered my name in a drawing here at work yesterday, and I just got notified that I won two Regal movie passes and $50 to be donated to the charity of my choice. Who did I pick? I asked that the $50 be split between Pit Bull Rescue Central and Bless the Bullys, which is Tennessee-based. I chose them on behalf of Caleb, of course, and all his mistreated brethren.
Nothing like a quiet evening watching a horror movie from Netflix with the pets to get you ready for bedtime. Most notable thing about watching Last House on the Left? That I was able to watch it uninterrupted. Rich and I never get to watch anything uninterrupted — the phone rings, the cats have a fight, the dogs bark or start juggling to get our attention. I tell you, tonight’s DVD viewing was a historic event.
Now if I could just figure out why TiVo didn’t record the new episode of Rescue Me tonight. Good thing it repeats at 12:08AM. How I forgot to include this show’s title sequence in my post about title sequences is beyond me, so here it is:
Absolute perfection for this show.
