I had a late lunch today. First, I ran an errand (which did not pan out), resisted the temptation to buy fast food on the way back to the office, and ate my frozen meal here at my desk like a good little girl. Of course, after what I wrote yesterday, I don’t need to be hitting any fast food place. Also, I saw this commercial last night, which is truly scary. Because it’s true.
Anyhoo, I’m really looking forward to tomorrow — I’ll be attending AdventureCon 2007 at the Knoxville Convention Center. In honor of Star Wars‘ 30th anniversary, the con is serving as a kind of reunion for Star Wars characters. Okay, the actors who played said characters. Really, though, I’m just going to focus on one thing: meeting Peter Mayhew, who played Chewbacca, and coming as close as I can realistically get to fulfilling my childhood dream. You know, since I can’t actually own Chewbacca as a pet (see #39).
I will of course be taking as many pictures as I can and will try to post them to Flickr by weekend’s end.
