I gave in yesterday and went to the doctor about the sinus problems I’ve had for about two weeks now. Turns out I am in the tail end of an upper respiratory infection. Who knew? I didn’t feel that sick, just congested beyond belief. I got a prescription for decongestant that helped me sleep last night. I guess I should go to the doctor when I first feel sick, instead of being stubborn and trying to wait it out. You know, like Rich always suggests I do.
I got in to the office around 1PM after the doctor visit. I got 3-D modelling software installed on my work computer last week and was finally able to open the program yesterday. I had to get a hold of my training rep regarding problems with the license registration. He gave me a temporary one and will be coming to the office to personally install the permanent license for me. Time will tell if I get to do this full-time and reliniquish my miserable current duties to someone new. Cross your fingers for me.
After a noble attempt at creating a flier in Photoshop failed last night, I asked Rich for help. He put together a really nifty flier for me so I can hopefully sell some of my Barbie doll collection. Being thoroughly over my Disney phase for some time now, I’m trying to get rid of a lot of Disney Barbie dolls, like Peter Pan, Mary Poppins, Cinderella, and Snow White. I am also trying to sell some collectible Barbie dolls that I just don’t want anymore. I posted the flier on the bulletin board here at work; I’m hoping to have better luck than I did trying to sell them on ebay.
