Gruntled

Song Lyric of the Day:

Digging in the dirt / I can feel you getting closer / Steadying my hands through the blistering pain / Anxiously awaiting for the earth to reveal you / Wondering if I will ever see you again (see you again)

DJ Z-Trip featuring Chester Bennington / “The Walking Dead”

2:13PM.
I went to McKay’s Used Books first thing today. I haven’t been in a while and was in dire need of a fix. I found Good Grief by Lolly Winston for $2 (hardcover) and V by Live on CD–brand new (still shrinkwrapped) for $7.95. I used trade credit for both, so I didn’t have to spend any actual cash. Only the CD is on my wish list, which I will have updated and ready for holiday-shopping distribution to my family by the end of today.

I ran by Bed Bath and Beyond after I finished up at McKay’s to exchange some sheets I bought a few days ago. The store has some 230-thread count sheets on clearance, so I had pick up a dark tan, king-size set for $31. Not too shabby. Rich didn’t like the color I picked out so I exchanged it for a deep plum color; he’d pointed out our new bedframe is very pale and the first set I picked out would’ve made the bed looked all washed out.

Now I’m home and taking a break from finishing painting the half bathroom. It’ll be ready for Rich to install the new toilet and pedestal sink by the time he gets home tonight. Not that I’m pressuring him to do that–he’s been working his butt off lately. And his efforts are very much appreciated.

I cann’t believe I am the only one to comment on the fact that Rich is worried about the bed frame being “washed out”. After he told you this did he go watch “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” while listening to showtunes.

    ROFL. You kill me, Curry.

He doesn’t know any showtunes. At least not yet.

Jonnie–you can also use LMAO, which is “laughing my a** off.” If you feel like cursing, that is.
