Survivor: New Job

Song Lyric of the Day:

We blend everything, with the color of skin / Under the skin, we’re in like Flynn

11:18AM.
I’m awake now. I slept like the dead. With good reason–last night was the first night this week I’ve stayed up past 9:30PM. And it was glorious! I watched Tuesday’s first Scrubs episode, as well as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Without a Trace, the first TV I’ve watched all week. I crapped out right at 11PM, though, so I was pretty drowsy by the time Rich joined me to watch The Office, which we’d Tivo’d earlier in the evening.

Now I need to run a few errands. And then when I get back home, I can continue easing into the weekend. By catching up on all my Tivo’d shows, of course.

Later I’ll also finish a post I started for Tuesday that I couldn’t finish until my parents got home from Puerto Rico, since I didn’t want to give away something my sisters and I made for Dad to cheer him up. So check back late in the day and it should be up. I’ll be sure to put a link in for that post here.

Before I forget, thanks and congrats to my almost-brother-in-law, Shawn, for being the first family member to officially join my Relay for Life team. He’s even gotten a donation already, which is great. Thanks also to Samantha for officially joining, too. Their support means the world to me.

Now the rest of our family and friends should get off their keisters and join, too.

Sam told me what the three of you made for your dad, I thought that was really sweet. I’m sure that will become his most prized posession. Oh by the way, welcome back to the workforce.
