“What did you learn about in school today?”
“We talked about cows and heroes!”
“Cows and heroes? That’s interesting.”
“And guess what?”
“What?”
“I’ve been waiting to tell you this all day because it’s really special. Do you know who my hero is?”
“No. Who’s your hero?”
Pointing excitedly: “You are! You’re my hero! Isn’t that the best thing you ever heard in your whole life?”
“You know, kid, actually it is.”
